reacted to the death of Assistant Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Services, ACG Otunba Abraham Ajibola Bayeroju.

The politician expressed his shock at the news of Bayeroju’s death on the wee-hours of Sunday 21 of April, 2019. He described the late Otunba Bayeroju as a gem, and one of the finest Immigration Officer the Service has produced in recent time.

“This is to console the CGIS and the entire personnel of the Nigerian Immigration Service for the unfortunate demise of ACG Bayeroju, who until his death served in various capacities in the Service”

Coomassie who is also a member of immigration family though resigned, noted that Bayeroju in his own capacity worked vigorously for the transformation and progress recorded at the Service during the period of his personal encounter with the deceased.

He said this in a statement on Sunday evening, in his Wuse 2, Abuja residence. “I am saddened over the loss of one of the highly respected officers in the Immigration Service, Assistance Comptroller General Bayeroju, who worked tirelessly to advance the cause of Nigerian Immigration Services and contributions to its development.

“Bayeroju, who rose through the ranks to become ACG and never relent his effort in working for the progress of NIS”

“I extend my heartfelt sympathy to the hierarchy and staffs of the NIS and members of his immediate family over the loss of the great Officer. I pray that ALLAH gives them the fortitude to bear the loss.” He stated.

Bayeroju untill his death, was in charge of Training & Man Power Development (TMD) of the Nigeria Immigration Service. SHQ, Abuja.

He hails from Ekiti state and survived by wife and children.
