Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu, in supports of the COVID-19 conflict in the mostly affected parts of the State has donated handwashing stations at Ikotun Primary Health Centre through the Office of Civic Engagement, represented by Mrs Ibraheem Olaide, the Director of Admin & Human resources
According to a press statement by the Head, Media & Publicity Secretary,
Igando-ikotun Lcda, Comrade Oseni A.S, the donated handwashing stations had been installed in strategic public places.
Hon. Morenike Adesina Williams, the Executive Chairman Igando-Ikotun LCDA, while expressed her warm appreciation to Mr Babajide Sanwoolu, also emphasized the need to facilitate frequent handwashing for improved hygiene as a means of preventing the spread of COVID-19.
“We shall continue to provide 24hrs Water, Soup, Hand sanitizer spray at the station. Please endeavor to wash your hand regularly and maintain social distance”
“Through this donation, Mr Governor has displayed an uncommon commitment to the fight against the pandemic in the state,” she said.
The handing over ceremony of the stations was attended by senior state officials, including the council health department, COVID-19 Rapid Response Team, Vice Chairman Hon Prince Adewunmi Dada, Mr Olalere Olarewaju HOA, Wale Azeez Oniloko Supervisor for works, Supervisor for Health Apena Olatunji, , and staff from the council.
